  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mixed summer berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, whisk together milk, cream, sugar, cornstarch, and salt over medium heat.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in egg yolks and vanilla.
  4. Pour the mixture into the pie crust and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Let cool and refrigerate until set.
  6. Top with fresh berries before serving.
