  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed, then gently fold in the raspberries and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the muffin tins, filling them about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

  • For extra chocolatey flavor, add chocolate chips on top before baking.
  • These muffins are best enjoyed fresh but can be kept for up to 3 days.
