These decadent chocolate brownies are made with turkey bacon to add a unique twist to a beloved classic.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cocoa powder, flour, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Gently stir in the chopped turkey bacon.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For extra fudginess, do not overbake.
  • Chilling brownies in the fridge improves flavor and texture.
