Toffee Apple Pie

A delicious and decadent twist on the traditional apple pie, featuring rich toffee and tender apples.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 4 cups sliced apples
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and sugar until crumbly.
  3. Add cold water gradually until a dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough out and place it in a pie pan.
  5. In another bowl, combine apple slices, brown sugar, toffee bits, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
  6. Pour the apple mixture into the prepared crust.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the apples are tender and the crust is golden.
  8. Let cool before serving.
