  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Stir in yeast and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture, then gradually add the dry mixture. Knead until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place until it doubles in size, about 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough, spread brown sugar and cinnamon mixture on top.
  6. Roll it tightly and cut into slices. Place them on a greased baking dish.
  7. Let the rolls rise again for about 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Prepare the icing by mixing powdered sugar and vanilla with a bit of milk.
  10. Drizzle icing over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add nuts or raisins to the filling.
  • Store leftover cinnamon rolls in an airtight container.
