  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Spread the mixture on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  6. While the rolls cool, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and lemon juice until smooth.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture on the cooled rolls and top with sliced strawberries.
  8. Roll up the dough tightly and slice into individual rolls.
  9. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
