  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just blended.
  4. Gently fold in the sliced strawberries.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
  6. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  7. Meanwhile, cook turkey bacon in a separate pan until crispy.
  8. Serve pancakes topped with turkey bacon and additional strawberries.

Notes

  • For fluffier pancakes, let the batter rest for 10 minutes before cooking.
  • Substitute regular bacon for turkey bacon if preferred.
