Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake

A delicious twist on traditional sushi, this Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake is easy to prepare and perfect for the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sushi rice
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound salmon, cooked and flaked
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 sheets nori, cut into strips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook according to package instructions.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cooked rice with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt.
  4. Spread the rice mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  5. In another bowl, combine flaked salmon, mayonnaise, Sriracha, and green onions.
  6. Spoon the salmon mixture over the rice.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
  8. Garnish with nori strips before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add avocado or cucumber slices on top.
