Sheet Pan Chicken Pitas with Herby Ranch

A quick and delicious family dinner option featuring juicy chicken and fresh toppings served in warm pitas.

  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 whole wheat pitas
  • 1 cup mixed greens
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup herby ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine chicken, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the chicken in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  4. While the chicken is baking, prepare the pitas by warming them in the oven for the last 5 minutes.
  5. Once the chicken is done, remove from the oven and assemble the pitas with mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, and drizzling ranch dressing.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours before cooking.
