  • 1 pound sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season them with Cajun seasoning.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the scallops for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
  3. Remove scallops from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring frequently.
  6. Add lemon juice and season with salt to taste.
  7. Return the scallops to the skillet and coat them with the sauce for a minute.
  8. Serve immediately, drizzled with the spicy Cajun cream sauce.
