Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf

This Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf combines the classic flavors of a Philly cheesesteak with the comfort of meatloaf, featuring turkey bacon for a healthier twist.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy; add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic and sauté until soft.
  3. In a bowl, mix ground turkey, turkey bacon mixture, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let it rest before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding sautéed mushrooms.
  • Serve with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
