Pecan Pie Cheesecake Trifle

A delicious layering of pecan pie and cheesecake in a trifle format.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 pre-baked pie crust, crumbled

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, and beat until fluffy.
  3. In a trifle dish, layer crumbled pie crust, cheesecake mixture, chopped pecans, and caramel sauce.
  4. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up, finishing with a layer of caramel sauce and pecans on top.
  5. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, toast the pecans before using.
  • You can substitute with a gluten-free pie crust if desired.
