- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, then add heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Simmer until thickened.
- Pour the creamy garlic sauce over the baked chicken and serve.
