Pancake Poppers Recipe

Delicious and easy-to-make pancake poppers filled with turkey bacon and cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in turkey bacon and cheese.
  5. Preheat a popper maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Drop batter into the popper maker and close the lid.
  7. Cook until golden brown and puffed up, about 3-5 minutes.
  8. Remove and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with maple syrup for dipping.
  • Try adding different types of cheese for variation.
