One-Pan Bold Honey BBQ Chicken Rice

This One-Pan Bold Honey BBQ Chicken Rice is perfect for easy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and cook until browned, about 5 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the rice, BBQ sauce, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Place the chicken thighs back into the pan, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the rice is cooked and chicken is done.
