  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon shawarma spice blend
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken and season with shawarma spice, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
