- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic; drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the meat mixture and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish; top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
