  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. While the bars are baking, prepare the maple glaze by heating the maple syrup in a saucepan until warm.
  8. Once the bars are cool, drizzle the warm maple syrup over the top.
