Mac and Cheese Meatloaf Casserole

A delicious twist on classic comfort food, featuring a rich blend of macaroni and cheese layered with flavorful meatloaf and crispy turkey bacon.

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy; set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, ground turkey, crumbled turkey bacon, cheese, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Top with breadcrumbs and additional cheese if desired.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • For a vegetarian version, substitute ground turkey with lentils.
