Low Carb Philly Cheesesteak Casserole

A delicious and easy low carb twist on a classic Philly cheesesteak casserole featuring turkey bacon.

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  3. Add sliced onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and paprika.
  5. Add the sautéed vegetables and crumbled turkey bacon to the bowl and mix well.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and top with shredded provolone cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
