  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cherry-flavored candy melts
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, measure out the Rice Chex cereal and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Heat in microwave at 30-second intervals until melted and smooth, stirring between each interval.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex and gently fold until evenly coated.
  5. In a separate bag, add powdered sugar and the chocolate-covered cereal. Shake until well coated.
  6. In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the cherry candy melts and drizzle over the coated cereal.
  7. Sprinkle with crushed graham crackers and chopped maraschino cherries. Let cool and set before serving.
