  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the granulated sugar until well combined.
  3. Remove from heat and add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until fully incorporated.
  6. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then add the egg and vanilla.
  7. Spread half of the brownie mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  8. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie base.
  9. Spoon the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese layer and swirl gently with a knife.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set. Let cool before slicing.
