Homemade Blueberry Iced Tea

A refreshing and easy-to-make summer drink featuring blueberries and tea.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags (black or green)
  • 1/4 cup honey or sugar (to taste)
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • ice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  2. Add tea bags and remove from heat. Let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mash the blueberries with honey or sugar.
  4. Strain the tea into the bowl with the blueberry mixture and stir well.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices.

Notes

  • For a stronger tea flavor, steep tea bags longer.
  • You can use frozen blueberries if fresh are not available.
