- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and maple syrup.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the cooked turkey bacon and sausage.
- Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tin and fill each cup about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
