Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine buttermilk, vegetable oil, egg, food coloring, and vanilla.
  4. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
