  • 1 teaspoon oregano

  • 4 pitas
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken thighs and coat evenly.
  3. Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, until cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  5. Warm the pitas on the grill for about 1 minute on each side.
  6. Assemble the gyros by layering sliced chicken, tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, lettuce, and onions in each pita.
