Instructions

  1. Separate the egg whites and yolks into two mixing bowls.
  2. Whisk the egg yolks with milk, vanilla extract, and sugar until well combined.
  3. Sift the flour and baking powder into the yolk mixture, and mix until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form.
  5. Gradually add sugar to the egg whites while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
