Crispy Rice with Spicy Shrimp Salad

A delightful dish combining crispy rice and spicy shrimp for a bold flavor experience.

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the shrimp and season with chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  3. In a separate pan, fry the cooked rice until it’s crispy.
  4. Assemble the salad by layering crispy rice, mixed greens, and sautéed shrimp.
  5. Top with avocado slices and serve with lime wedges.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add sliced jalapeños to the shrimp.
