Creamy Tomato Garlic Pasta

A deliciously creamy pasta dish featuring tomato and garlic, perfect for a quick dinner.

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add diced tomatoes, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Add cooked pasta and chopped bacon to the skillet; mix well.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes.
  • You can substitute the turkey bacon with regular bacon.
