Crack Chicken Noodle Soup

  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, sauté the onions, garlic, carrots, and celery until softened.
  2. Add the chicken broth, thyme, and parsley, and bring to a boil.
  3. Add the chicken breasts and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.
  5. Add the egg noodles and simmer until cooked.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and serve hot.
