  • 2 cans cinnamon rolls
  • 4 cups sliced apples
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly.
  3. Open the cinnamon roll cans and slice each roll into quarters.
  4. Layer half of the cinnamon roll pieces in the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix sliced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts if using.
  6. Spread half of the apple mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
  7. In another bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  8. Spread half of this mixture over the apple layer.
  9. Repeat the layers with the remaining cinnamon rolls, apples, and cream cheese mixture.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  11. Let cool slightly before serving.
