- 40 Saltine crackers
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and arrange the Saltine crackers in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Pour the butter mixture over the Saltines, spreading evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Allow to sit for a few minutes, then spread the melted chocolate evenly.
- Mix together the cinnamon and powdered sugar, then sprinkle over the chocolate layer.
- Cool completely, then break into pieces to serve.
