Chocolate Covered Strawberry Brownies

A deliciously rich treat combining brownies and chocolate-covered strawberries.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla, then mix until combined.
  4. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt; stir until just combined.
  5. Spread the brownie batter into a greased baking pan.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. While the brownies cool, melt the chocolate chips with the vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
  8. Dip each strawberry in the melted chocolate and place on a parchment-lined tray.
  9. Once the brownies are completely cool, top with the chocolate-covered strawberries.
  10. Allow to set before serving.

Notes

  • Store brownies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
