Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

Deliciously creamy scalloped potatoes combined with the savory flavors of turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Add onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
  3. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes.
  4. Spread half of the turkey bacon and chicken ham mixture over the potatoes.
  5. Sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers, finishing with cheese on top.
  7. In a bowl, mix milk, cream, paprika, salt, and pepper. Pour over the layered potatoes.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some herbs like thyme or rosemary.
