Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In a separate large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar, then beat in the egg.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Take a tablespoon of cookie dough, flatten it, and place a teaspoon of cheesecake mixture in the center, then wrap the dough around it.
  8. Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes.
  9. Let them cool on a wire rack.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing.
  • Chill the cookies for 30 minutes for a thicker texture.
