  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and spices.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Scoop the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling them about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger chai flavor, steep the milk with chai tea bags before adding it to the batter.
