Caramelized Leek and Mushroom Gruyere Pasta

A deliciously creamy pasta dish featuring caramelized leeks and mushrooms combined with Gruyere cheese.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 leeks, cleaned and sliced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add leeks and mushrooms; sauté until they are caramelized.
  4. Stir in garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet; mix well.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and sprinkle in Gruyere cheese; stir until cheese is melted and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve hot.
