Calabrian Fish Ragu Pasta

A delicious and satisfying Calabrian fish ragu pasta that’s homemade and full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 400 grams canned tomatoes
  • 300 grams white fish fillets, such as cod
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes; cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add canned tomatoes and bring to a simmer; cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Incorporate white fish fillets and white wine; simmer until the fish is cooked through.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss to combine.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
