A delicious and simple dessert combining sweet blackberries and fluffy dumplings.

  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the blackberries, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt for the dumplings.
  4. Add the milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling mixture onto the blackberries.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the dumplings are golden brown.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes
