Biscuits and Sausage Gravy Breakfast Pizza

A delicious breakfast pizza topped with biscuits and creamy sausage gravy.

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the biscuit dough package instructions.
  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. Add the flour and stir until fully combined, then gradually add milk while stirring continuously.
  4. Allow the mixture to thicken, seasoning with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  5. Roll out the biscuit dough into a pizza shape and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Spread the sausage gravy evenly over the dough, and top with cheese if desired.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until the dough is golden brown, approximately 15-20 minutes.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sausage.
  • Leftover gravy can also be used for dipping.
