  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the pumpkin puree and vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  9. For the crumble, either mix additional flour, sugar, and butter with nuts to sprinkle over the top, or create your own topping mix.
  10. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  11. Let it cool before serving.
