An indulgent twist on the classic apple pie, this cheesecake blends the rich creaminess of cheesecake with the warm spices and flavors of apple pie.

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups sliced apples
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine sliced apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Layer the apple mixture over the cream cheese batter.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  7. Cool in the oven with the door slightly open for an hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
