  • 1 pound chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 3 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and toss them in cornstarch until fully coated.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes to create the sauce.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  4. Place chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  5. Toss the cooked chicken with the sauce and return to the air fryer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, you can double coat the chicken with cornstarch.
  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
